(i took it frm some blog) Symptoms: Feelings of extreme unhappiness and mania. Mania is one of the more frustrating manic depression symptoms because it is the opposite of unhappiness. Manic Depression symptoms for mania include euphoric feelings, cheerfulness and a great sense of self-esteem. Speaking rapidly and frequently and needing little sleep are other manic depression symptoms for the mania cycle. Episodes of mania also include racing thoughts, being easily distracted and pursuing pleasurable activities such as sex or spending. Mania can disrupt normal functioning as much as depression can although mania can help mask manic depression symptoms. Who wouldn't want to be overly high and cheerful and generous and work extra hours and seek pleasure from shopping and sex and gambling and whatever else? The problem is that the consequences add up. Infidelity, tremendous debt and the physical toll on the body are just a few of the problems that arise from this mental disorder. Manic depression symptoms always swing to extremes as well and a high mania will be responded by an extreme depression. Manic Depression symptoms for the depression cycle of this mood disorder are the same as other major depression symptoms. Sleeping too much, eating too much or too little, feeling depressed, down, sad and like everything is overwhelming and hopeless are just a few of the depressive symptoms. musik: dirty pretty words - Alex Parks 1:56 am powered by blogger |
