sometimes you just dont realise do you?

You know, I didn't expect seeing a firework would make me think so much.

When phoebe told me she went to see the american fireworks with janice, i wasnt the least amused. I see fireworks every bloody year. Even the times where I was staying at lorong 8, i could see it through my window because my house is located in such a way that my dining room faces the national stadium.

It was never that fasinating because fireworks was... well, fireworks.

Before the start it was a frenzy. everyone was at the same place, @ One fullerton or the esplanade. everyone was just crowding and waiting for it to start. but what surprised me most was that, when the fireworks started, everyone was cat calling, whoo-ing, clapping..

during the fireworks, if there is new pattern that's super bright or super pretty, (which is everyone), we go "woah, woah, woah, woah" and woah-ing non stop. I did too, just for the ambience. ;)

Oooh, then guess what. when the fireworks ended, we all clapped. that is what touched me most, the good sportsmanship. it costs millions to put that show up, but amongst the jolsting, pushing, farting.. everyone enjoyed themselves and clapped to show they are thankful. I never thought we would show a side like this. In places like Japan, after a project, everyone goes "thankyou and thanks for the hard work".. just.. touched me.

and for those of you (i.e: jolene lim bo seng) who didnt get to see anything, the above pictures are for your enjoyment.
