BACK yo yo ! am back from my trip. :) things were wrong from the start actually, with the postings coming out the wrong way and everything after that. :| the first flight, Air France, to paris was delayed by a whole hour, made us missed the next connecting flight at 7.45am(europe time) to milan. so we were put on the next flight at 945. Reached milan finally at 1125, dad's lagguage didnt come. What a classic. Apprently a lot of people's lagguage didnt arrive. so we queued and settle till 1.30pm. took a cab from Malpensa to Fiera to meet Sanae (btw, just to shock ya, the cab fare was 110 euro. abt s$230). She was with this.. taiwanese guy. surname liu. Talked about politics and blah blah. Then toured Mipel and met loads of people. and then, MILAN WON PARMA 3-1. :D after that we had dins with saito, shiraii and jason near the fiera. well, few days after was almost the same. Went to church on sunday. yes, the mass is in italian. At the Duomo (the cathedral). a very beautiful church. :) and luck for me since i stay near duomo and della spiga (the orchard rd of milan), thus everything is easy and near (but in milan.. nothing is ever near) then down to florence. missed the 12.55 train (if we were only 15 mins earlier). what's with the missin of transportation? lols. walked the whole florence. As in really, walked the whole florence. The whole of florence is about.. the size.. of Toa Payoh? then down to paris after florence for 2 nights. on the last day there was demostration. and luckily we met a combodia chinese taxi driver who could speak chinese, teochew, french and cambodien. not too bad afterall. and i left all your presents in milan, except stef's rose soap. wonders why. and the freakl weather was intorable (is there such a word?) when we arrived in milan, the weather turned. A few notches colder. When we left milan, the tempeatire rose. when we reached florence, florence was freezing at 5 degrees. i had only one sad jacket. and florence was still cold after we left florence. reached paris only to find paris was also freezing. and it turned warm when we left. wth?? suffering from a slight jet leg now. or is it only normal since its only 12? hmmms.. and my pashmina cum silk scarf was "kop-ped" in paris. wth. costed me some hundred bucks man that thing.. grr.. 12:01 am powered by blogger |
