no one values knowledge for its own anymore i actually agree with abraham. No one values knowledge for it anymore. We are all forcing ouselves to learn those subjects in school because we have to feed ourselves in the future. We've got to work, get the money, buy stuff we want, feed ourselves. Who else in the world, is studying purely because they love that particular subject? I flip the dictionary nowadays, and i wonder what the hell am i flipping for? I finish my english Os, i;m going to business course. mass comms only comes after my degree, which is altogether another matter by itself (still havent sorted out the car dilemma). much as i want to read the dictionary, i find no meaning to it. What am i doing for when i flip the dictionary now? My parents wants me to do well, and the big hurdle is over. I am not particulary blessed with brains, i admit. I am formed with generations and generations of humans, and my line of genetics hasnt always been the words, clever or smart or anything like that. so what if my dad's from cat high? he will tell you the exact same thing. however much i want to claim i'm actually really smart or how desperate my parents wants to claim they have a genius at home, i am utterly sorry about that. Academically, my sis will fare better than me, but i have to give her credit that all her results today are her hard work, not that she's naturally intelligent or smart. just the same as me, for my case. let me share with you all some stuffs: Congratulations, Angie! I mean, she smart, no one would argue, so she must have seen through me... arghs. ha, syl just smed me. she's so cute. haha. my gosh. well, asking me to go for linkin park concert on 3rd of dec.. sorry darling, i'm in hongkong. :) my post Os calendar is practically full. so those who want a date, please make your appointment early. hopefully, 21st we'll have some programme on, 22nd night i will be meeting hacken. 23rd, yz's birthday. 24 or 25 is the bbq&clubbing with the m4s, 26 or 25 or 24(whichever day the bbq isnt on), i have to go rebonding with cia. and will attend grad on the 27th (of course i'll attend. we'll be celebrating lola, twistd, june ni and my birthday on that day!), flying off on 30th. will be back possibly on the 8th. hopefully i'll get a job and a place at the french club to study french. think it maybe the france embassy in sg. i dont know. neng have to check it for me. :) meanwhile, on the 28th and 29th, hopefully the jayjaxjags will go out everynight and partttty, or me and aud cld look for a job. i can write letters to beg for interviews. (beg sounds horrid, but since when is truth beautiful, unless someone you love tells you s/he loves you) ok, friendster have given me something again. finally caught up with keathwee. found out he takes art along with yangkai. that's good. and he's mugging too. woohoo. song's on friendster so i my other 'zhen' enemy, professor leow.. that y=mx+c. because of that, i'm quite good with line equations and i never forget song and zhen qiao. the sole few pple who tekaned me. all those talk abt seniors getting horrid, i all kenna from them. but it is also them that my life went up and down; like rollercoaster. which was good. found sylvia too! my ex vice head prefect who landed in CJ.. and found lester too, who went in a JC. so did monitor jason, so did suanwood. it makes me wonder if shawn went in. i bet he did, and possibly to a good one. he's not the smartest person i know, but he's one of the most hardworking ones, and that made him smart. still remember the times we meet up for movies and lunch on saturdays. and my sis had a huge crush on him, so if shawn agrees, i would bring her along. but he's the man man. he never wanted to sit beside my sis, always bought me the food and drinks, and we'll never watch horror movies because it haunted me and him for nights. haha. he's meaty but not fat. so its makes it good it lie on his shoulder. :)but his sister is a terrible tyrant. i wonder how come the brother is so wonderful and a snag, but the sister is such an evil cunning fox? and surprisingly, tjy accepted me. wow, i thought he hates me on sight, but maybe i was too suspicious. haha. the list goes on man. and hoping to find trace. not that she's not on my msn. she is, but i want to avoid talking to her. if we talk, we would compare. and if we compare, i doubt i will win her (even though i'm currently doing quite well in sn, but i guess she is doing even better in pss and that she head prefect and all? yes, my school's a top 7 but hers not and that sylvia is the vice and she got in cj, so where does that place the trasai? maybe in anderson jc?) ok, enough of these stuffs. let me enjoy my last few nights of peace before yet another stretch of sleepless nights. 10:46 pm powered by blogger |
