chinese is finally over! Chinese paper is finally over. That signifies that one gruelling week gone. countdown : 2 weeks more Well, next week is a pia-ing week. With me having 3 papers left, i can really pia. Today, i will do nothing. Absolutely nothing. Tomorrow onwards, i will start doing papers for science. And next week i'll start fnn. NYP finally gave me a reply after i dont know how long. but its been reassuring. They would accept me even if i fail my lit (with is a possibility after that horrid question for r&j), and they also gave me an outline for their debate team. now, take a look at this: We are glad to know that you are interested in NYP debating team which is growing from strength to strength. We hope that you too could join us as one of our debaters. Generally, the format of debating is the same ie most of the time, we would have 3 speakers. However, the way the speakers argue / take on the case would be different in terms of approach and content. The differences are in the following areas : 1) Poly debates have no cross fire 2) Poly debates do allow POIs 3) Poly debaters are interested in proposing new ideas rather than proving the state of a matter 4) Generally, Poly debates last for 7 mins vs 5 mins for those of Sec Schs. that's what they sent me just a few minutes ago. i'm not gonna reply just yet. sec sch formal debate have got no cross fire, sec sch debate do allow POIs. I like the third point. Interested in proposing new ideas rather than proving the existence of the state of matter. Meaning they believe in having (an) idea(s) to solve the matter instead of convincing the judge that the matter is real. Also means that they would debate on which method of solution is more practical, real and able to take flight. not too bad. it sounds quite good. well, we'll see. The chinese paper was a genuine peice in the showcase for fated in not getting an A. It was very bad. The compo was miraculously easy to handle this time, but the paper was slightly harder than the june one. No point talking about it anyway. :| I must do well for my science and fnn since lit was a screw up. and if i said it was a screw up, i mean it really was a screw up. was chillin out at tau huay just now. cross over to macs and saw vern and cole. haha. oh that cole, havent met her for so long. She changed her hairstyle and she's skinner, not that its a bad thing. Still remember those times where we meet up every week with jiam, char, va and vern to eat steamboat, play hotel, hotel, hotel, hotel, hotel, mahjiong, daidee, monopoly, hotel, hotel, hotel, hotel, hotel, hotel, hotel, chill out at bishan, bishan, bishan, novena square, novena, novena, bishan, bishan, my house, char's hse, my hse, char's hse, bishan, novena, novena... ok, you get the point. hahaha. and she's scary when i get met her, just ask jiam. we were like "who the hell is she" haha. well well.. how long ago was that man. but it was good seeing her again. i'm glad. :) but that's not the important point. what's the deal is that jolene talked about being holy because she kinda believe that the end of the world will come and that we shld we good because we would want to go to heaven. yes, i do want to go to heaven. and i really want to go for confession but there seems to be endless number of people. :| maybe i shld really go super early for it. after my Os or maybe tmr or next week. These few weeks, i must do it. And now that i;ve got new surge of hope i better not let it go. talked abt the bible and stuff too. well, the point is that they say end of the world would come in my (meaning our) generation. and jol wants to be holy. as in lead a more holy life. I really want that too. but that means controlling thoughts, intentions and actions, 3 in 1. I should start doing my part too. That include educating neng and cia as much as possible and hope one day, they finally convert to catholics. That will be my greatest honour i cld ever get. But sometimes i feel as if i am the person in jay chou's yi fu zhi ming. I am bad until the point that i dont know what is bad. bad until i cant understand how bad i am. and this is the main point. at one point, in came a guy. and he caught my eye. He looks like leslie. leslie cheung. i was surprised. momentarily, i was stunned. He looks like somebody i've met. somebody. And i think, and think, and think, and i just thought of it. i met him at the mrt station. That time, i dont know if i blogged abt it, i said i was training when i met a hongkie guy who looked like leslie. He looks almost exactly like him. and he's gay. i mean the guy i met on the mrt, and this is guy i just met at tau huay, both are gay. my, i dont know if they are the same guy.. but, yes, they are both very good looking. they have this thing about them. hmms. and this guy we met at tau huay, jol, jas and g or cia met him before at kfc. my my. i really want to find that guy i met on the train. ha, singapore is said small, but its not very small neither is it big. so how am i gonna find a hongkie that looks like leslie? :| well, chillins now yeah? i saw her, but i dont know what to say. do i try and smile or do i just stare? she's a particulary hard woman to approach and i dont know how. maybe i shld resign to fate and go back into my shell. 5:27 pm powered by blogger |
